Faith, History, and the Beauty of the "Grungy"
Welcome to Rescued and Rendered Primitives LLC.
My name is Drema, and this shop is the result of a journey guided by faith and a love for the forgotten. After many years in the corporate world, I felt a clear calling from the Lord to "be done" and return to a life of hands-on creativity and stewardship.
My Mission & Desire
The heart of Rescued and Rendered is deeply personal. I know what it means to be lost and found by Christ – made new, and I see that same story of redemption in the old, "grungy," and salvaged items I collect. My mission is to honor the way God works in our lives by finding value where others see none. Just as we are never too lost to be found by Him, I believe "lost" treasures from our past deserve to be found, cherished, and given a new purpose.
- Rescued: We seek out the historical treasures of our past, the salvaged finds and vintage pieces that have weathered the years. Every chip and crack has a story.
- Rendered: We celebrate the "rendering" of these finds into something beautiful. Whether it's through my own hand-dipped candles and custom-blended potpourri or the work of talented artisans who turn raw materials into primitive art, we focus on the beauty of the handmade.
Based in Rising Sun, Maryland, my little nook is a tribute to a simpler, faith-filled era. Because we believe in the importance of community and the tactile beauty of our items, we invite you to visit us in person to experience the scents, textures, and history of the entire shop firsthand. We are based in the ever so cute "Crock-a-doodle doo country shop" at 1324 Rock Springs Road, Rising Sun Maryland.
